The Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics Institute (FRPI) certifies manufacturers’ knowledge, experience and capabilities on an annual basis per FRPI SP9000 Laminating Process Certification plus certified manufacturer’s equipment on a job-by-job basis per FRPI SP9100 Laminate Certification. The following is a list of manufacturers that have been awarded a valid FRPI Laminating Process Certificate for providing certified equipment, with certificate number, date first certificate was issued, and date when the most recently issued certificate expires:

PLEASE NOTE: A certificate number suffix provides a general indication for the Manufacturer’s scope of certification per FRPI SP9000 Laminating Process (“Manufacturer”) Certification Part 1.1 F. No suffix indicates “All Equipment,” whereas “T” is for “Tanks and Vessels only,” “V” is for “Odor and Air Pollution Control Vessels only,” “D” is for “Ductwork only,” “P” is for “Custom Pipe only,” and “C” is for “Components only.” A combination of suffixes indicates multiple categories.
Some restrictions and/or limitations may apply to Manufacturer Certification beyond the absence or inclusion of a suffix. Such restrictions and/or limitations may be imposed upon or subsequent to certificate award. To more fully understand the scope of a Manufacturer’s certification, please contact the Manufacturer and request a current unexpired Manufacturer Certification certificate and disclosure of any restrictions and/or limitations that may be imposed or contact FRPI now.
Pending Manufacturer Certifications
The certified manufacturer listing on this page is dynamic and may change at any time, including names, certification suffixes and expiration dates.
Project bid specifications requiring SP9000 certified manufacturers do not limit noncertified manufacturers from bidding projects. Manufacturers not currently certified and listed on this page can bid projects, carry costs including a timeline associated with getting certified and be awarded contracts requiring SP9000 and SP9100 certifications. It’s their choice to participate in and provide what specifiers want.
Bid specifications often state acceptable manufacturers include those in possession of an active SP9000 certification and are currently listed on the FRPI website or those who obtain certification and are listed by or before the time of first engineering submittal under the contract awarded.
Specifying engineers requiring FRPI certified equipment want the product features and quality assurance the specification provides. Equipment owners, specifiers, contractors, system integrators and manufacturers all benefit financially from the value certification enables.
